My favourite beauty bits from Charlotte Tilbury

Hello lovelies!

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend wherever you are 🙂

I decided I’d put a post together about my top picks from one of my absolute favorite beauty brands, Charlotte Tilbury.

So let’s get started!

Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencils

My first picks are the Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencils in Bronzed Garnet and Dark Pearl for so many reasons, but I’ll do my best to whittle them down to two.

Colour and vibrancy

Above all, I absolutely love how vibrant the colors are, and how they have been designed with the idea to enhance your natural eye colour. Having said that last point, in truth all of the colours look gorgeous on any eye colour so go wild and mix it up, my favorite of the two pencils being in the shade Bronzed Garnet which is designed to complement green eyes not my, err.. brown eyes. Now the ‘Dark Pearl’ pencil specifically designed for brown eyes is just as gorgeous, however as its a much darker shade I prefer to keep this one for evening/night time looks.

As well as their vibrant colours, I love the very subtle shimmer these pencils give –  I always get so excited when I find a great eyeshadow that a) is a great colour and b) offers a subtle shimmer whilst refraining from looking like the remnants of Tinkerbell’s handbag.

Texture and Versatility

I feel these two go hand in hand with these pencils; Their soft creamy texture and impressive staying power means they can be used along the lashline as an eyeliner pencil or blended out across the lid as an eyeshadow. I personally like using the Bronzed Garnet as an eyeliner pencil, framing eyes by drawing a line along the entire upper lash liner, and along a third of the lower. For the Dark Pearl, I like to blend this one upwards and outwards away from the outer corners of the eyes to give a more effortless smokey eye look.

Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk

This will forever be one of my favourite makeup products of all time.

Charlotte Tilbury’s lip pencils have a wonderfully soft texture making them super easy to apply and can be used purely as a lip liner, or to create a matte lip look by filling in the lip completely. I particularly love the shade Pillow Talk, because as well as being a very natural shade and managing to ‘Cheat’ your lips into looking fuller, it has a very subtle and very pretty baby pink/coral undertone. There isn’t too much to say about this pencil, but it really is fantastic.

Hot Lips Muted Nude Matte Lipstick in Super Cindy

This little wonder will also forever be one of my favorite makeup products and permanently on the ‘must re-purchase’.. and ever-growing.. list. I find the colour is strong enough to not require a lip liner (I use one anyway because without it I require a magnifying glass to find my lips) and has a very impressive staying power – a common theme with Charlotte Tilbury’s products. I particularly love the shade Super Cindy because it’s a super pretty natural summery coral shade (I need to go easy on the adjectives..) that goes with absolutely anything.

As you will probably be able to tell in the picture below, its completely matte and has a very creamy texture.

But what you cannot tell.. is it smells just. like. chocolate.

Now that’s won you over hasn’t it?
